The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Texas
provides funding to congregate meals sites in Hardin, Jefferson and Orange counties.
Located throughout the tri-county community, these sites offer fun, fellowship and a hot
lunch each weekday. Meals are prepared by the two Area Agency on Aging meal providers:
Nutrition and Service for Seniors in Hardin and Jefferson counties, and the Orange
Community Action Association in Orange County. Each provider agency has been serving our
area for many years and takes great pride in the services they offer to area older adults.
You can retrieve a list of meal sites by county using the drop down
list to the right.
Please note that it is important to contact the site at
least 24 hours prior to your visit for lunch so that we may ensure that a meal is prepared
for your enjoyment. You will have the opportunity to contribute towards the cost of your
meal. These contributions allow us to match federal dollars brought into our area and to
provide additional meals. Your contribution or lack of a contribution in no way effects
provision of your meal. |
